We have had a great couple of weeks. I had all of last week off school for mid-winter break. Todd had Monday and Tuesday off, so we were able to enjoy a few days off together. Jackson finished his second session of soccer. He had a great time going every Saturday morning. We decided not to sign him up for another activity until the fall. We are hoping warm weather will be arriving soon and we will be able to get outside more. On Monday we went to the Ann Arbor Hands on Museum. Jackson enjoyed playing in the water table and driving the ambulance. Aubrin was curious about all of the noises and kids that were there.
Jackson has found a new love~ peeling oranges. He would eat oranges all day if I let him just so he could peel them. Jackson also also found humor in calling Todd and I by our first names.
Little miss Aubrin has graduated out of her infant car seat. She was moved into her big girl seat last week. Aubrin has started to dabble in some table foods. We tried ground up chicken, but she didn't love it. For now I think she is happy eating her yummy baby food and nibbling on her Puffs. She is starting to get the hang of her sippy cup. Aubrin is also saying mama and dada.
On Monday, we celebrated my birthday. Jackson made a
spectacular cake with our wonderful caregiver and friend Michele. He was so proud that he made it and it was his favorite color-PINK!
We hope this finds everyone well and counting the days down until spring.

We have been trying to keep busy in the house during these cold weeks. Jackson has been busy in the kitchen making banana bread and a birthday cake for grandma. He had a great time decorating the cake. It was beautiful:) Aubrin has been her happy little self enjoying watching her brother run around and be silly. It's hard to believe she will be 8 months old on Friday.
