This week was busy! We started the week by celebrating our niece Annie's 4th birthday. We had a great time playing in the pool and running around the yard. Jackson got had a special day with Grandma and Grandpa Olenech all by himself. They picked Jackson up in the morning and dropped him back off in the evening. Jackson had a great day playing golf, going shopping and playing in the pool. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! Aubrin had a play date with Gabriel. They had fun playing with toys and sharing a snack. Jackson and Aubrin have been enjoying playing outside. Jackson is fascinated with otters that are building a house in a pond near our house. Every morning we have to walk down to the pond and watch them get sticks and leaves for their houses. Jackson thinks they are great. Jackson was a great help this weekend moving some rocks in our yard so we can do some landscaping. Have a great week.

We are loving the beautiful weather. We are happy summer has finally arrived. Todd and I have been enjoying our time home with the kids. Todd has been out of town, so we were not able to spend Father's Day with him. Although he made it home just in time before the kids went to sleep. Jackson and Aubrin really missed Todd while he was gone and was so happy to see him. We spent Father's Day at the Miller's swimming and playing in the backyard. Jackson and Aubrin loved playing with their cousins. My mom and dad were in Chicago watching the babies while Erin and Jayson went away for the weekend. We are going to celebrate Father's Day with my dad in a few weeks when Erin and her family come for a visit! Jackson has found a new reading spot in the house~ my bathtub! He thinks it's really funny to get in his pajamas, get his books and blanket and read books in the tub. He's so silly!
Today Aubrin had her one year visit. She checks out perfect! She weighs 19 pounds and is 30 inches long! Dr. Economy was amazed with how many teeth Aubrin has coming in.
Todd and I have loved the start to our summer vacation. We put up our new water slide for the first time yesterday. Todd says it's for the kids, but I have a feeling I will find Todd playing on it a bit more than Jackson. Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather.
Jackson's new treasures are dead bees. He has been collecting them and keeping them up in his playhouse. Jackson says he's going to "fix them". He fixes them or so he says and then throws them out off the playhouse to see if they will fly. Grandma and Grandpa Olenech brought him a bug belt so he can have all the needed tools to be a little more serious about his job:)
Little Miss Aubrin wants to do more and more by herself. This week she started to feed herself with a spoon. It's very messy, but she is determined to eat her yogurt like a big girl. Aubrin also started to take a few steps behind her push toy this week!
Jackson and Aubrin love to spend time with their cousins. We went to the farm last week and took Annie with us. Jackson is excited any time he gets a chance to spend time with Annie. Nate and Tessa came over the other night to play while Emma and Annie had their dance recital. The kids had a great time playing in the bouncy, in the sand table and having tea parties.
Where does the time go? Todd and I can't believe our little lady is turning one. We had a ladybug birthday party for her today. We had such a nice day celebrating our little peanut with friends and family. We were a bit nervous about the weather, but it ended up being a perfect day. Aubrin had a great time playing in her new bouncy. I think Jackson may have had more fun! Aubrin loved everyone singing Happy Birthday to her, but she did not want anything to do with eating cake. She stuck her fingers in the cake, then wanted me to wipe them off. Aubrin got so many thoughtful gifts for everyone. I think she may be the best dressed girl in town after all the clothes she got today. Grandma and Papa Miller got Aubrin her first doll house. Grandma and Grandpa Olenech gave Aubrin her first American Girl Doll. Thank you to all of you that spent the day with us and helped celebrate the wonderful year Aubrin has had. We are so blessed to have such a beautiful and healthy little girl. Todd and I are finishing up our last week of school this week. We are so excited to be done with school and be able to spend the days with Jackson and Aubrin. We also have wonderful news to share. Krista, Todd's sister, is expecting~ Baby number 5! Baby Campau will be joining the family in November. We hope you have a wonderful week and enjoy the beautiful weather.
