Our big girl turns 4!

Aubrin was so excited for her Hello Kitty birthday party. It was a beautiful day and we were excited to celebrate with friends and family. Aubrin was very specific about the cake that she wanted. I have made most of the kids cakes/cup cakes for their parties, but for this one I went to the bakery. I'm so glad I did, because when I showed Aubrin she said, " Oh mom, this is just what I wanted. It's so pretty!" Although when it came time to put candles on the cake and sing to her, she wanted nothing to do with it. Lately, our little lady is not wanting to be center of attention. So, we sang quickly, she blew out her candles and moved on. She opened up her presents and loved everything. She got a Tangled dress, alarm clock, books and puzzles...and much more! She got a very special present from grandma and grandpa the week before her birthday- a four wheeler! She LOVES it and loves that it goes fast and she an keep up with Jackson.

Nolan brought Aubrin flowers for her birthday. She was so excited to put them in her room. She thought everything was so pretty and fun! Later we got out the water slide and slip n slide for the kids to play on. There was fun had by all. So much, that our last guest didn't leave until 9:30pm (party started at 1:00).

On the day of Aubrin's actual birthday I had to work in the morning and wrap a few things up before summer vacation started later that day! We told Aubrin to think about what she wanted to do and she said she wanted to eat lunch at the Burger Joint in Milford and then play at the park.

We were happy that that Campau's could join us for lunch. While Todd was ordering lunch I ran down to the bakery and picked up cupcakes for us to feast on after lunch. After lunch we headed to the park. Aubrin was very happy that Tessa came with us. The kids had a great time running around the play scape and looking for frogs.
When we got home Jackson couldn't wait any longer and he had to give Aubrin her present. He got her a Barbie car, books and a pink ball, all in which he picked out. Todd and I gave Aubrin a few little things and then told her what her big present was...a trip to Chicago to go to the American Girl store to pick out a doll. She was so excited!!!!! We played for the rest of the day outside and celebrated our little peanut.
