Kindergarten Round Up

Aubrin has been talking about Kindergarten Round Up for months. She was so excited to see what it was all about, spend time with one of her possible teachers and take a practice bus ride. I have also been thinking about kindergarten round up for months. Our little lady is growing up...way too fast.
When we got to the school I could tell Aubrin was feeling a little nervous, but then we saw a group of little girls that she goes to preschool with and she seemed relived.

We all sat in the gym while the principal talked to us. For the life of me, I could not keep it together. I kept tearing up, not because I'm sad or nervous for Aubrin, but because its another milestone that we have come to.
The principal started calling groups of kids to leave with the teachers. There were MANY kids that were crying screaming. It was a horrible chain reaction. I watched their moms faces and I think they were equally as mortified as their child was. When they called Aubrin's group to go she went with ease and a smile~ thank goodness. 
Aubrin went to all three classes, did a project, listened to a story and had a snack. She came back to me with big smiles. I knew if would go great, but a sigh of relief when I saw how happy she was. 
I can't wait to watch our little lady soar next year.
